Parallel work of two controllers

For an application where there is a need of enlarging the number of steps of PFC it is possible to connect two controllers FCR06RSC or FCR12RSC or their combinations. In this case the first controller (master) is measuring the current in the grid and second controller (slave) has free current input and enlarges the number of available controlled outputs only.

Master controller measures voltage and current and controls the first 12 (6) steps. If the need of compensation power is not enough to be covered by master controller then it asks slave controller for additional compensation power available on its outputs.


Communication between controllers is over the RS485 bus. Controllers are informing each other about used steps, needed compensation power and free steps that can be offered by slave controller.
